Doordarshan is an autonomous public service broadcaster founded by the Government of India, owned by the Broadcasting Ministry of India and one of Prasar Bharati’s two divisions. One of India’s largest broadcasting organization in studio and transmitter infrastructure, it was established on 15 September 1959.
About the Hiring
Doordarshan News, New Delhi is looking to engage Research Team consisting of one Chief Researcher, one Senior Researcher and five Junior Researchers on annual contract basis for DD News.
Positions
1. Senior Researcher
Number of post- 1
Remuneration- Rs48,000/-
Educational Qualification and Experience
Essential: Graduate or equivalent from a recognized University/Institution; and At least 6 years of research experience in media organization/New media/ legislative research/social sector research.
Desirable: Proficiency in Hindi and English language; and At least 2 years of research experience in television news channel.
2. Chief Researcher
Number of post-1
Remuneration- Rs75,000/-
Educational Qualification and Experience
Essential: Graduate or equivalent from a recognized University/Institute and At least 8 years of research experience in Media Organization/ New Media/legislative research/social sector research.
Desirable: Proficiency in Hindi and English; and At least 4 years of research experience in television.
3. Junior Researcher
Number of posts-5
Remuneration- Rs30,000/-
Educational Qualification and Experience
Essential: Graduate or equivalent from a recognized University /Institute; and At least 2 years of research experience in any media organization/ new media/legislative research/ social sector research.
