About the Position
At Persistence, we focus a lot on research and development and believe that to stay ahead of the curve in the Blockchain and Crypto industry it is necessary. We are looking for a Research Analyst with a deep understanding of the Crypto industry and who can help the Business and Tech teams in analysing the recent trends/products in the industry. The Researcher will work closely with the founders and team leads to determine the key areas of focus for the company.
This position can be based out of our office in Bangalore, India (Post Pandemic), but is also open to remote employment.
Responsibilities of this Role
Continuously learn and research about Cryptocurrency, Blockchain, and Decentralised Finance (DeFi)
Participate in the Business Development and Technical discussions, and support both the team with detailed Research & Analysis for devising a strong action plan.
Assist with publication of research commentaries and papers
Evaluate new and established research sources
Quantitative and qualitative research, and track record of using data to make arguments
Track record of translating research into design and product
Ideal Candidate
Prior experience of working in Crypto industry, ideally 1+ years
An understanding of Crypto trends, market demand, market landscapes and competitive analyses
Up to date with the recent trends and products in the Crypto industry and specifically Decentralised Finance (DeFi)
Excellent skills using various tools including spreadsheets, docs & presentations
Bonus
Ability to work well in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment – prioritizing tasks, managing deadlines, and effectively balancing short-term projects with long-term strategic initiatives
Enthusiastic about early-stage start-ups
Savvy about bleeding-edge technologies such as Blockchain, Crypto and Fintech for research & efficiencies
Ability to quickly understand complex, interdependent technical requirements
Comes from software development or finance background
