Project: Pan-India Characterization of the plasmodium field isolates available in the malaria parasite repository for drug resistance genes and other molecular markers” ( PI: Dr. Vineeta Singh, Scientist, E )- Duration upto 02 years
1. Junior Research Fellow (03-UR)
Post Graduate Degree in life science or Post graduate degree in professional related with biotechnology courses with CSIR/UGC NET qualification.
Salary: Rs. 31,000 p.m. plus HRA.
2. Research Associate-I (01-OBC)
Essential Qualification: . Ph.D. degree in life sciences or equivalent degree or having 3 years of research, teaching and design and development experience after MVSC/M/Pharm/ME/M. Tech with at least one research paper as a first author in science citation indexed (SCI) journal.
Desirable: Research experience in molecular and cell biology related relevant field. Experience in related field (DNA, RNA isolation, Molecular Diagnostics, Realtime PCR, TaqMan probe based diagnosis.
Salary: Rs 47,000 p.m. plus HRA.
3. MTS (01-UR)
Essential: High School or equivalent
Desirable: Experience in working in a research laboratory
Salary: Rs.15800/-p.m
Project: MERA-Slide Bank ” ( PI: Dr. Anup Anvikar, Sc. F )- Duration upto 02 years
1. Project Scientist-B (Non Medical) –(01-OBC)
Essential: 1st class Master’s degree in life Sciences from a recognized University with 2 years experience in related field
Or 2nd class Master’s Degree with Ph.D in relevant subject from a recognized University.
Salary: Rs. 52290/-p.m. including HRA
2. Lab Technician –(02-UR)
Essential: 12th pass in science subjects and two years diploma in Medical Laboratory, Technician OR one year DMLT plus one year required
experience in a recognized organization OR two years field /laboratory experience OR animal house keeping in Govt. recognized organization
Desirable qualification:- Experience in malaria microscopy.
B Sc degree shall be treated as 3 years experience
3. MTS-01(UR)
Essential: High School or equivalent
Desirable: having 02 years of experience in working in a research laboratory
Salary: Rs.15800/-p.m
Project: Establishing a pan-India landscape of human Plasmodium infections from dried blood spots collected under National Family Health Survey-5(NFHS-5)” ( PI: Dr. Abhinav Sinha, Scientist “E” )- Duration upto 1 year
1. Project Scientist –C (Non Medical) (01) (UR)
Essential Qualification: 1st Class Master Degree in Life Sciences from a recognized university with 4 years experience
Or
2nd Class M. Sc +PhD degree in relevant subjects from a recognized university with 4 years experience in relevant field.
Desirable: Demonstrable research experience in relevant field (DNA/RNA isolation, molecular diagnostics. Realtime PCR.TaqMan probe-based diagnosis).
Salary: Rs.51,000/- HRA@24 %
2. Research Associate I- 03 (UR)
Essential Qualification. PhD/MD/MS/MDS Or equivalent degree OR 3 years research, teaching and Msc/Mpharma/ME/MTech.
Desirable: Demonstrable research experience in relevant field (DNA, RNA isolation, Molecular Diagnostics, Realtime PCR, TaqMan probe
based diagnosis).
Salary: Rs 47,000/- plus HRA@ 24%
3. Senior Research Fellow 07 ( UR-5, OBC-1, ST-1)
Essential Qualifications: Post Graduate Degree in basis Science OR Post Graduate Degree in professional course and two years’ research experience
Desirable: Demonstrable research experience in relevant field (DNA/RNA isolation, molecular diagnostics, Realtime PCR. TaqMan probe-based diagnosis.
Salary: Rs 35,000/- Plus HRA
4. Project Assistant-12 (UR-8, OBC-2, SC-1, ST1)
Essential Qualifications and experience: Graduate in Life science/relevant subjects from a recognized University + three years’ work experience from a recognized institute OR Master’s degree in the relevant subject (Life Science).
Desirable: Qualified National Eligibility Tests or National level examinations conducted by Government of India. One year or more of hands-on demonstrable experience in molecular biology (DNA/RNA isolation, PCR primer designing)
Salary: Rs 31,000/-p.m
5. Project Officer -01 (UR)
Essential Qualification: Graduate in any discipline with 5 Year experience of administration/finance and accounts work.
Desirable: Graduation in Life Sciences and relevant subjects.
Salary: Rs. 32,000/-p.m.
Project: JC Bose Fellowship under Dr. Amit Sharma, Director, ICMR-NIMR (for two years)
Project Scientist-B (Non Medical) –(01-UR)
Essential: 1st class Master Degree in Biotechnology.
Desirable: Preference will be given to the candidates
1. having Ph.D Degree in Molecular Neuroscience/Biotechnology/Molecular Biology, or
2. Minimum one year’s research experience in any of the reputed Scientific/Research Institute/Organization after Master’s Degree, and
3. High quality publications in national and international journals
Salary: Rs. 56,000/- plus HRA as applicable
Project: Contractual Post at NIMR for Covid related work (for approximately 06 months)
1. Scientist – ‘C’ (Medical Microbiology) -01 (UR)
Essential: Post Graduate Degree (MD/MS/DNB) with Microbiology after MBBS with one year experience
Desirable: Experience in Govt., autonomous, PSU etc. recognized organization
Salary: Rs. 56,000/- plus HRA as applicable
2. MTS-04 (UR-02, OBC 01, ST-1)
Essential: High School or equivalent
Desirable: having 02 years of experience in working in a govt research laboratory
Salary: Rs.15,800/-p.m
Project: Surveillance for Artemisiain resistance in West Bengal” ( PI: Dr. Anup Anvikar, Sc. F ) (For 09 months)
1. Project Assistant -1 (OBC)
Essential qualification: Graduate is Science from recognized university with three years experience from recognized institution or
Master’s degree in microbiology, biotechnology, biochemistry. Knowledge of computer application.
Salary: Rs 29565/-p.m. (fixed)
2. Data Entry Operator-1 (UR)
Essential qualification: Intermediate or 12th pass in science stream from recognized board with DOEACC “A” level from recognized
institute or 2 years experience in EDP work in Government Automatons PSU or any other recognized organization. A speed test not less than 8000 key depression per hour through speed test on computer.
Salary: Rs 17520/- p.m. (fixed)
