AFC Invites applications for “Student Interns” AFC India Ltd. (formerly Agricultural Finance Corporation Ltd.) is a National level premier multi-disciplinary developmental consultancy and technical support institution wholly owned by Commercial Banks, NABARD and EXIM Bank. AFC is a Deemed Government organization and its accounts are audited by Comptroller & Auditor General of India (CAG). AFC provides a wide range of services such as identification of potential projects for promoting development in different sub-sectors, conducting pre-feasibility/scoping studies, baseline studies, potential surveys, formulation & appraisal of projects, techno-economic project appraisals, monitoring & evaluation, impact assessment, needs assessment, socio-economic studies etc. Of late, AFC has diversified into large scale grassroots level project implementation in areas such as organic farming, agriculture extension, agri-business development, watershed development, forestry, climate change, rural livelihood promotion, education, health & nutrition, training & capacity building, skilling and financial literacy.
About Internship:-
AFC invites applications from Students who are pursuing their post-graduate degree or Diploma in Agriculture / Agri-business / Social Sciences / Economics / Statistics/ Development Studies / Operations Research / Management from Institute / University of repute.
Key Tasks :
The selected students will be assigned a short term task / project / study depending upon the area of interest of students and relevance to AFC.
They will be assigned a mentor to guide/help him/her in development of proposals, study tools, approach plan, execution methodology & analysis of data, and drafting reports.
Students may be required to take-up field visits anywhere in the state/country depending upon the requirement of the task assigned to him / her.
Stipend: Rs. 10,000/- per month.
In addition, the selected students will be allowed TA/DA in the case of field visit as per norms of the organization.
