ABOUT CPA Project
The Criminal Justice and Police Accountability Project is an intervention focused on the criminalisation of certain communities by the Police and the criminal justice system. This project is a grassroots litigation-research based intervention based in Bhopal and working in specific locations with particular communities across state of Madhya Pradesh.
INTERNSHIP
The CPA Project is looking for legal interns for Remote internships in Bhopal. The work will involve researching the disproportionate impact of criminal laws on marginalised communities and assisting with litigation work, including writ petitions before the High Court.
DURATION OF INTERNSHIP
Between 4 weeks-8 weeks (20-25 hours a week)
STIPEND
Rs.8000 per month
WHO CAN APPLY• Law students in their penultimate or final year of law school will be preferred.• Applications are encouraged from women, queer and gender non-conforming individuals, persons from Adivasi, Dalit, ex-criminalised/DNT/ nomadic, other Bahujan and religious minorities, persons with disabilities and others from LGBTQIA+ communities.
