THE BHARATI LAW REVIEW(BLR) JOURNAL
Bharati Law Review is a peer review academic journal focusing on issues related to Administrative Law, Civil and Criminal Procedure Laws, Domestic Law, Economic Law, Environment Law, IP Laws among many others.
Submissions are being solicited by the Journal for special issue on Alternative Dispute Resolution Volume IX (II) (OCT-DEC) 2020.
ABOUT THE COMPETITION
Madhyasthta – the Alternate Dispute Resolution(ADR) Cell of BVP’s New Law College in collaboration with the CADRE and YOUNG MCIA is organising its inaugural edition of International Article Writing Competition 2020. The organisers thus invite law students throughout the globe to participate and ideate on the topics mentioned below.
(Centre for Alternate Dispute Resolution Excellence (CADRE), established in 2019 is an organisation striving to bring Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) to the focal point of India’s legal ecosystem.)
(The Mumbai Centre for International Arbitration (MCIA) is a first of its kind arbitral institution established in a joint initiative between the domestic and international business and legal communities.)
THEMES
Following are the themes for article writing. The topic of the participant’s research may vary based on the choice of theme.• Online Arbitration of Small value disputes• The use of Blockchain Technology in ODR• Role and Skills of a Digital Arbitrator• Enforcement of settlement agreements arising from International Commercial Mediation• Making ODR prevalent rather than optional• Synchronised Regulations for ODR• Documents only Arbitration• International Commercial Negotiation in Mergers & Acquisitions Disputes• Modern phase of Dispute Resolution coupled with Technology• Development of an International ODR Regime for Cross-Border Disputes.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
The competition is open to students enrolled in Undergraduate and Post Graduate programs.
