Written by HNLU is a premier law institution, sixth in the series of National Law Universities in India. A book titled “CONSTITUTION@70” will be published by HNLU to commemorate the 70 years of Constitution of India. This book is planned to be released in January 2021 and HNLU invites scholars from India and abroad to make valuable contributions of Chapters for the same.
THEME
The umbrella theme is “CONSTITUTION@70”. Provided hereunder is a list of suggestive topics however, authors are permitted to include any other issue(s) in consonance with the main theme.• Constitution and Constitutionalism• Constitution and the Judiciary• Constitution and Gender• Constitution and Human Rights• Constitution and Federalism• Constitution and the Bar• Constitution and the Non-Citizens• Constitution and Media
SUBMISSION GUIDELINES• Word limit should be 5000-8000 words.• Co-authorship between individuals of same or different institutions is allowed.• Co-authorship is permitted upto 1 co-author.• Abstract: An abstract of not more than 250 words must be contained in each manuscript. This is inclusive of the above-mentioned word limit of 5000-8000 words.• Citations must be in conformity to the Bluebook 20thEdition standards.• Only footnotes must be used as form of citation.
FORMATTING GUIDELINES• For the Main Text: Font style must be Times New Roman, font size 12 and Line-spacing 1.5 .• For the Footnotes: font style must be Times New Roman and font size 10 and Line-spacing 1.• Use of Headings and Sub-Headings is encouraged. Headings and Sub-Headings should be numbered, should be of same font type and size as the main text and should be in Bold.
PROCEDUREOF SUBMISSION• Authors are required to send their original and unpublished works to the email id: constitution70@hnlu.ac.in in .doc/.docx format.• The name of the File must contain Name of the Author(s) + Title of the Submission.• The submissions must be accompanied by a covering letter including the following information:▪ Full Name of the Author(s)▪ Designation▪ Name of the Institution(if any)▪ Contact details of the Author(s)

Last Date of Submission of full paper: 20th December 2020
PUBLICATION POLICY▪ Submissions must be original work of authors and must not be published elsewhere. It is to be noted that submissions with plagiarised content and copyright issues will be rejected.▪ By making their submissions to HNLU, the author(s) agree to assign exclusive copyright in the work to the University. It shall be entitled to, without limitation, publish and reproduce the submission or part(s) thereof in any manner it deems fit (with due acknowledgement of authors) subject to the doctrine of fair use as enumerated under the Copyright Act.▪ The editors reserve the right to edit the submissions or part(s) thereof for publication without permission from or further notice to the author.▪ After initial screening, short-listed submissions will go through a double-blind peer-review process and the final selection will be based on that procedure.
