About the Internship
Clifford Chance offers opportunities for Virtual Internship in Business and Human Rights, which is a short term internship program, where you can earn a certificate after completing all the tasks assigned in 5-6 hours.
The internship involves complete tasks focused on human rights risks that our clients may face. The interns will learn how they, as lawyers, can advise clients on how to approach such challenges.
Eligibility
Undergraduate Law students and Law graduates may apply.
Nature of Internship• Virtual Mode• Duration 5-6 hours• Self-paced
Responsibilities of interns• Advising a client whether it is required to comply with the California Transparency in Supply Chains Act (“CTSCA”).• Advising a client on the principles of the European Directive 95/2014 regarding the disclosure of non-financial information.• Advising your client on the risk of a target in an M&A transaction being associated with human trafficking.• Determining whether a national court ruling against an information portal amounts to a violation of the above convention.
