This Fellowship program spans for a year, where the fellows selected are supposed to engage in activities in a deeper way with some real life challenges, tasks and timelines. The focus is on giving hands on experience and immersion into urban and rural India’s realities.
Eligibility• Qualification: Matriculation min• Age: 21-35 years• Indian citizens• People who will commit to spend a year with Goonj in various areas and themes by working on issues that affect the last person, at the same time develop individual skill sets and capacities.
The Fellowship includes the following:• In depth learning about issues like infrastructural development, menstrual health, education, livelihood and disaster relief-rehabilitation.• Working on ground with Goonj operational and field teams in Assam, Bundelkhand, Chattisgarh, Odisha, Karnataka, Rajasthan, Bihar, Maharashtra, Delhi, Tamil Nadu, West Bengal.• Capacity building workings, shadowing experience with sector specialists apart from hands on training about key skills like communication, financial planning, monitoring and evaluation.
