Members of CUSAT (Cochin Univerity of Science and Technology) are calling for chapters for the book titled ‘Social Security Laws in India: Problems and Perspectives’, to be submitted by December 25th, 2020.
About the Book
Social security has always been a primary focus area of various plans and policies of the Government of India since independence leading to the enactment of the Code on Social Security, 2020. In spite of this, the reality in India is not much different from the rest of the developing middle-income countries. One of the major reasons for this is that the majority of the workforce is employed in unorganized sectors. This coupled with the current scenario of the pandemic has made social security one of the most needed measures of the era.
