Empowering Students Through Awareness & Education
Project Saarthi is an initiative by Young Ignited Minds Foundation (YIMF) dedicated to raising awareness on menstrual health, mental well-being, and child abuse prevention among school students. Through interactive workshops, educational materials, and community engagement, Saarthi aligns with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UNSDGs 3, 4, and 5) by promoting health, education, and gender equality.
Saarthi Focuses On
Menstrual Health & Hygiene
Providing knowledge and essential hygiene materials to adolescent girls, reducing absenteeism caused by menstruation.
Mental Health Awareness
Educating students on emotional well-being and stress management.
Child Abuse Prevention
Conducting workshops on personal safety, identifying abuse, and seeking help.

Future Roadmap
- Expansion to 45+ districts, with a focus on 15 aspirational districts as per NITI Aayog in Punjab, Haryana, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, and Madhya Pradesh.
- Increase outreach to 5 million+ girls by 2030 through enhanced awareness programs.
- Distribution of 1 million+ UNFPA-UNHCR Menstrual Hygiene Management (MHM) Kits to adolescent girls.
- Targeted outreach to over 50,000+ government schools to ensure comprehensive awareness and access to menstrual health education.
- Integration of mental health support initiatives through expert-led sessions.
