Mr. Upadhyay talked about the current challenges to International Law when countries are going back to individualism, impact of US contributions on UN operations, especially the peacekeeping operations, the consequences of US dominance and about UN peacekeeping missions.
He spoke about Humanitarian interventions(exception to the use of force), Public international law,Syrian crisis and Israel and Pakistan conflict.
He also gave insight into scope of international law and international arbitration, changes in cyber law and development in international development.

RIGHTS OF PRISONERS BY ADV. MANISHA BHANDARI

A prisoner; whether a convict, under-trial or a detenu is legally entitled to all his fundamental rights as any other citizen unless his liberty has been constitutionally curtailed. Supreme Court in many cases has held that a prisoner is a human being, a natural person and also a legal person. As budding legal professionals, we need to be well aware of the constitutional rights of the prisoners and henceforth, ensure that they are not deprived of basic fundamental rights that they are entitled to.
